Målbar information
The Målbar tool calculates the total climate footprint emitted from the product according to the EU Product Environmental Footprint (EU PEF) rules. Massproductions has chosen to self-assess a majority of the product range via the Målbar tool.
Apart from that we have also chosen to do verified screenings (verified by Målbar) for some of our products, such as the Icha range and the Crown family.

Målbar verifies that the input data provided by the client lies within the “normal” range and that any claim of sustainable aspects is documented.
The expected emission of this product is the presented kilos of CO2e, with a related uncertainty shown for each product. This screening result reflects the expected emission of the product and the related uncertainty due to potential lacking data and thereby the use of conservative estimates. The result is obtained through self-assessment using the Målbar software, enriched with a manual verification by Målbar. The verification secures that the input data lies within the normal range for the product type, as well as secures proper documentation for any sustainability claim related to the product. The calculations are performed in spring 2023.
