Compliance Engineer

Massproductions is looking for a Compliance Engineer with a doer mindset and down-to-earth attitude to join our hard-working team of 20 colleagues developing, producing, marketing, and selling future furniture classics.

You will plan, develop, and implement a company’s technical compliance capabilities according to local, national, and international standards. A key role that will require an attention to detail, networking skills, good leadership characteristics and an ability to get things done.

MAIN TASKS

  • Manage product certification processes to comply with regulations on all of our markets.
  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with suppliers and the internal product development team with regards to product specific details.
  • Keep updated with current and future sustainability legislation and procurement terms.
  • Möbelfakta certifying Massproductions product range.
  • Work to increase Massproductions transparency communication
  • Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
  • Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
  • Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
  • Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
  • Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
  • General LCA and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) knowledge
  • Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, chemical engineering or other relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
  • Experienced within product development when it comes to furniture is merited.
  • You are used to develop good relationships with both production partners and designers, as well as working closely with supply chain and sales & marketing.
  • You have experience as project manager and thrive in this kind of work and methodology.
  • You are fluent in English, preferable also in Swedish, with other languages being a bonus.
  • EU residency or Swedish work permit required
  • You will be part of the Product Development team and report directly to Massproductions CEO.

The position is based in our HQ at Hammarby Allé 51, Hammarby Sjöstad – Stockholm.
